Anyone tried this yet: www.britishmusicradio.net (http://www.britishmusicradio.net) ? It's a ghastly amateurishly garish 1990s-style web page, but the mix of music looks interesting and the programmes play reliably enough.
have subscribed to their newsletter and considered looking into Soundcloud the better to look into it...
It's pretty painful on the eyes, isn't it?
I had an email from them asking if i was interested! I'll investigate at the weekend...
Me too. But I just can't look at those fluorescent backgrounds and over-vivid highlightings...
The website is HORRIBLE with a great big H. But they do play some nice music.
This is a retirement project for Jan Cosgrove, formerly dedicated National Secretary of 'Fair Play for Children', a voluntary organization founded in 1972 by the wonderful Trevor Huddleston, lobbying for safe play areas for children. Maybe the garish website reflects Jan's years of trying to see things through children's eyes. :)
A labour of love, I should think.
