Somewhat to my surprise, I only just saw this (http://kurtknecht.blogspot.com/2011/08/had-to-post-this-for-music-geeks.html), well, example of Hoffnung-avant-la-lettre (inspired by Richard Strauss and others), though the book that it is from was written 98 years ago. I hope it is sufficiently on topic and amuses some.
