Joseph Haydn Parry Born 27 May 1864 Danville Pennsylvania, Died 29 March 1894 London
The eldest son of the better known Welsh composer Joseph Parry 1841-1903. He was initially taught music by his father.
He later returned to England where besides being a composer, he became assistant music master at Harrow school. From 1890 he was a professor of music at The Guildhall School, London. He is buried in Hampstead cemetery.
( his brothers names were Daniel Mendelssohn Parry and William Sterndale Parry, the latter died in 1892)
