The works by Scriabin fils are frighteningly advanced. Virtually identical to what the father was composing at the same time. Talk about missing childhood. Then the poor kid drowned.
Not to take anything away from Ms. Lettberg, but for another take on early Scriabin, played with inner fire, I recommend Eric Le Van's mazurkas: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Scriabin-Complete-Mazurkas-Eric-Van/dp/B0000UJM2W/ref=sr_1_2?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1400712440&sr=1-2&keywords=scriabin+mazurkas (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Scriabin-Complete-Mazurkas-Eric-Van/dp/B0000UJM2W/ref=sr_1_2?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1400712440&sr=1-2&keywords=scriabin+mazurkas)
I have this disc and find it very enjoyable, despite not being much of a fan of the composer otherwise:
