Today Christopher Hogwood died. I looked at wikipedia for more information and found that he was somehow involved - or maybe he had involved himself - in the discovery of a previously unknown early piano piece by Johannes Brahms. I'm sorry to hear about Hogwood's death. I particularly value his Gade recordings on Chandos.
