He was violinist, but wrote exotic orchestral works. Anyone has listened his music?

Interesting titles on the published scores I notice listed (apparently mostly from Ricordi of Milan (also Bratti e Sciabilli of Firenze) in the 1880s and similar), and I do see a recent recording listed also, but I haven't heard anything by him yet...
A 2nd string quartet by him (published by Bratti e Sciabilli) listed in the holdings of some Italian libraries. ... Not so many 1880s Italian quartets I know yet (though I may know (of) one or two more than your average penguin... hrm... when did Pappalardo write his?... but anyway) - but yes- intrigued somehow even just so.
