Dora's Overture status recorded!
Now you can listen to it, if you wish, on SoundCloud

Optionally, I can send you the audio (mp3, 6.56MB) via E-mail, but for that you would have to send me first a private message providing the address.. :o :-\

Now I think it is pure math that suggests what fills the last CPO Pejačević disc, the length of this work taken into account.
The Piano Concerto, Songs for Voice and Orchestra, and the Overture. I still have to find out is the "Nocturne for Orchestra op.50 No.1b" actually her instrumentation..
Thanks for the upload. the Overture does not seem to be up to the usual quality of her compositions. But it's certainly good to have.

I can only think when listening to this on the deceptive excellence of splendid high society receptions that she had so mercilessly been opening fire on in her correspondence. It is successful if the intention was to pass on the feeling of that vain atmosphere..

Authentic Art Nouveau / Hollywoodian-style music
Now on YouTube
Dora Pejacevic (1885-1923) : Overture for Large orchestra (1919) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFRfiCnvl4M)
Thanks for the upload! It's good to have another work by Pejačević, and just as it is about to wear out the 'welcome mat' - it departs! ;D
