wonder why the two discs of what seem to be the same works? I would at first have guessed that the 2nd disk might have had his quintet for piano and winds to go with his two quintets for piano and strings, but I guess not...
BMN apparently issue their recordings in two formats, a CD and a Blu Ray Audio disc.
A new version of these quintets is now out on CPO from the indefatigable Mr Triendl:

But only (so far) as a download. There's no mention of it yet at jpc - in any form.
