Title: Röntgen String Trios 9-12 (vol. 3) from Champs Hill
Post by: Sharkkb8 on Monday 09 November 2015, 02:32
For those of the download persuasion, the third volume of Rontgen String Trios, w/the Lendvai Trio, is now available.  Downloads available through Amazon on those both sides of the pond, but, perhaps curiously, Amazon USA says the release date for the cd format will not be until next January.  Both Amazon sites offer a pre-order option for cd's, but I do not yet see a specific release date for Amazon UK.

This is music for connoisseurs of chamber music by a composer whose mastery of his art was absolute. It's as if inspiration just tumbles out of the man. Extraordinary. Virtuoso writing too - this isn't for amateurs! (Try the finale of String Trio No.9!!)
