That's great news! Schmidt still lives...at least on record. There are quite a few recordings of Das Buch, but I'll be glad to take another. We have fine recordings of the symphonies, organ music, chamber music. What we really need is a legal recording of Fredegundis.

Oh dear, there are already so many good recordings of this piece: who is going to buy this one? I am not so sure whether the German pronounciation of some singers and of the Latvija Chorus may be fully satisfatory...
