This statement has just appeared at MusicWeb:

Regrettably, this will be the final update of the National Discographies as eyesight problems make it impossible for Mike Herman to continue. Musicweb International wishes to express its sincere thanks to Mike for the huge amount of work that he has put into these discographies. They are one of the most visited parts of the site, and undoubtedly will remain so.

I'm sure that all our regulars here at UC would like to join me in thanking Mike for all his hard work in compiling his fascinating and comprehensive discographies over at MusicWeb and in sending him our very best wishes for the future.

Thanks to all for the nice words. I still hope to make additional entries to the discographies but on a much more limited scale. So, please keep on looking.
