I am thinking repertoire and performance and i would need a very good reason to listen to these concertos again. Madge destroyed the Medtner for me and since a recording of the Rachmaninoff superior to Bronfman is impossible, I may well give this a miss.
Hamelin's Rubinstein/Scharwenka disc was as exciting as watching someone creosoting a shed and I am wary of purchasing his releases.

While Hamelin isn't my favorite interpreter of Medtner, I'll still buy it because in his own way it will doubtless be great.
