The soundclips are very promising especially the Violin Concerto.

The CD came today. The VC (in B minor/ends in D major) is just gorgeous in an idiom somewhere between Elgar and Barber/Korngold. Shows how far full-blooded romanticism survived into the 20th century (1936).

2015? I'm not surprised it took more than a year (it was recorded in 2014) to prepare and produce, though 4 years can be a bit much (more typical for cpo, but...)a
