Post by: BerlinExpat on Saturday 09 February 2019, 16:02
A Fond Farewell from Allegro Music!
After just over 34 years in business, Allegro Music is closing its music retail doors to the general public on Friday 8th February 2019

I referred to Allegro Music the retailers of sheet music and specialists or organ and choral music.

Even here you have to be specific -- for instance , there is an Allegro Music in Tennessee, USA (http://www.allegromusiconline.com/), which also happens to be 34 years old and also seems to be primarily a sheet music retailer, and it seems to be doing just fine (at least, no notice of closure on this website!). (There seems to be a *lot* of Allegro Music businesses out there!)

By various other hints I'm guessing that the place in question is the UK business here. (https://allegro.co.uk/)

therefore also not Allegro the distributor of many classical labels, which after hearing about the closure of MDT so close behind it, is if not a relief at least not two equal "agghs!" in a row, so to speak (well, depending on where you are and how much business you do with this particular Allegro, or one's extent of employment by, or.. of course...)
