Beautiful lyric suite composed in 1893 by Swiss composer, Jaques-Dalcroze . 2 CDs on Claves label and on Qobuz.

It is actually a "Suite Lyrique for chorus soli and orchestra" (the German translation on he score calls it an "Oratorium".

Not to be confounded with the orchestral "Suite Pastorale", extracted by the composer - the one I have recorded on Sterling:

I just read in this CD's booklet, that it is not a complete recording of the cantata, but a "very large extracts of this long score" affair. Disc one runs 45, disc two 40 minutes.
