Den Jyske Operas opsætning af den danske komponist Paul von Klenaus senromantiske opera om den helt almindelige mand, hestehandleren Michael Kohlhaas, der i 1532 ender som terrorist og hærger en hel landsdel.
Musikken kombinerer et senromantisk tonesprog med modernisme og middelalder.

I'm not sure about the suitability of this 1933 opera. Wikipedia says that it's a twelve-tone work...

I've listened to an earlier broadcast of the same performance of this opera. It's 12 tone certainly, and I'd say that stylistically it's beyond our boundary, but it's not as atonal as I was expecting it to be. Not something I need to hear again, but not something I reeled away from in shock either.
