Great news and three surefire purchases for this listener.
Very happy particularly for the Eberl  symphony, since the piece is an absolute favorite of mine.
While Concerto Koln's recording on Teldec is very exciting (and to me they sound rightly"beefed up" there) , I always felt that this stunning symphony is totally early Romantic, not late Classical at all, hence it could make an even fuller impact with a larger ensemble and with the modern instruments' sound
The WDR orchestra should do..

I'll start a new separate thread for each CD as soon as it is released.

This series is entitled "Beethoven's World" and by focusing on unsung contemporaries of the Great Man, should provide general listeners with some context in this anniversary year.  The first in the series was the excellent Sony disc of 2 Clement violin concertos.  I believe the violinist on that disc, Mirijam Contzen, will also appear in the Hummel double concerto.  The Eberl pieces are both very strong, with the double concerto full of structural surprises.  Incidentally, Eberl seems to have played it once on tour with a 14 year old Meyerbeer, according to the notes for its first (cpo) recording.

Together with the CD of VCs by Franz Clement, that makes five CDs which, I gather from Reinhard Goebel's website, is the full extent of the series.

So this disc doesn't actually seem to exist. Nothing else beyond this JPC page and an Albert-classic.de (another German retailer) page seems to reference it at all.

The release date has evidently been put back. The details at jpc, which formerly included a release date of 15th August, now simply invite customers to be kept informed about what's happening ('Benachrichtigung anfordern'). I have duly availed myself of this facility and have received a reply saying they'll let me know when the CD is released.
