The first symphony by Hans Huber, the so called "Tell Symphony", will be played by the "Swiss Orchestra" in their season opening concert (https://andermattmusic.ch/en/event/season-opening-2/) on 24 September.
That's adventurous programming. Good for them!
The "composer from here" approach is a good way to introduce people to unsung repertory, particularly when it is combined with such a Swiss theme as the Wilhelm Tell legend. It's a really good way to create a positive predisposition rather than fear of the unknown.
