Expected out 2 May 2025, on Capriccio, this recording (https://www.prestomusic.com/classical/products/9755441--scharwenka-violin-sonatas) of violin works by Philipp and Xaver Scharwenka, with Philipp's suite in G minor Op.99 and 2nd violin sonata Op.114 in E minor (1904), and Xaver's serenade Op.70 (published by Church of Cincinnati in 1895) and violin sonata Op.2 in D minor (1872, dedicated to Richard Wuerst).
The Xaver Scharwenka works seem to exist only in the Hyperion reissue of the Collins Classics recording now (until the competitor comes about in May), with notes by our good Mr. Eastick :)
