Welcome to UC, amadeucorbera, and thank you for that interesting post. Do you by any chance know the style of Cicely Foster's music? UC is dedicated to 'unsung' composers and compositions specifically in the Romantic style, and we have yet to establish whether Cicely Foster's music falls into that category.

Unfortunately, I don't yet have enough of Cicely Foster's music at hand to determine her style. This coming Friday, in Mallorca, we will premiere one of her works—a reduction of a ballet titled The Olive Pickers, set in the Mallorcan mountains, which I believe has never been performed before. I know that it is rather neoclassical in style: Cicely Foster studied with Nadia Boulanger before moving to Mallorca, where she met and became close friends with Manuel de Falla.

Cicely Foster lived for many years in Mallorca, my homeland, which is why I have been researching her for some time. I have found some information here in Mallorca, so I wrote an article few years ago about her time in the island.
