Its a great opera, that deserves to be performed more often.

Fabio Armiliato was the Gianetto in the Wexford performances back in 1987, which also had Alessandra Marc and Miriam Gauci.

Herculanum by David will indeed be staged at Wexford 2016. The other works will be Vanessa by Barber and Maria de Rudenz by Donizetti.

Opera Holland Park have announced that they will stage Jewels during their 2013 season.

This is one of my favourite operas since I saw it in Wexford in 1981.
