Anyone know how to get hold of parts for str 4tet, op. 14 no 3?

On the same disc the Wesstrom is lovely - haunting slow movement. Parts for that are on IMSLP, but I'd really like to see parts for the de Ron (not to mention Fredrik Lindblad str qtt 4, and Andreas Randel in f min. There are discs (and you tube), but I. 'd like to try to play them all.

Anyone know of editions of Johan Martin de Ron string quartets (esp the one in F minor). There was one in 1941 (Gerhman). Anything currently accessible?

We (the quartet) think the performance went very nicely. In the event, not only did the Musik och Teaterbibliotek supply pdf of score, but the publishers (Silvertrust) whose parts we had bought and were using also very gernerously sent a pdf in good time.

That link doesn't work, as you suspected. But your earlier link to Swedish Muscial Heritage lead me to the Music and Theatre Library of Stockholm; I emailed them and within an hour they had scanned the quartet and sent me the pdf - so thank you very much for the pointer that lead me to the goal!

Thanks for that. I know there is an edition published by Silvertrust, but it would not be possible to get it in time (for tomorrow!!!!), so the search goes on ...

I don't suppose anyone out there has a pdf of the score of Wikmanson's quartet number 1 they could email me in the course of today? It's for assessed performance module and the examiners could well do with a score, and we only have the parts. It's not on IMSLP. *If* the unlikely is true and someone has, the e-address is fjones@liv.ac.uk

thanks - I know the Fazer/Warner Chappell/Fennica Gerhman catalogue (have got e flat  and a minor quartets). I suspect it is MS, but will try World.cat.

Not exactly 'unsung' (Sibelius), but the early stuff is not all that well known. Anyone know how to get parts for the '33 small pieces' for string quartet (1888-1889)?

Anyone know how to get parts to play this? Glasquartet (offshoot of zliverpool university chamber orchestra) has played 4 of Tulindberg's quartets, is preparing 1 of Wikmansson's, and is thinking about the future.
