Messages

I've just heard this recording on apple music. It sounds phenomenal. I've never been that into the first symphony - but I loved it this time. The orchestra sounds like an old school Austrian band.....very tender and wonderfully nuanced and Berman brings out so much I'd never heard in the score - even the bits which I though didn't make. any sense he finds a way to make them sound exactly right.
