Though Unsung Composers is mainly dealing with romantic to early 20th century composers some of you may be interested in this project:

The site offers free downloads of digitalised LPs. Take a look, at least some composers may find your interest.
There are for example some works by Othmar Schoeck whom few would term an avantgardist.
(Oh, I've just noticed that this is Schoeck's 125th birthday, September 1st. Happy Birthday! :D)

thank you very much, the site is very very interesting...some month ago I found only after a long research, a 2nd hand copy of the Cd with Fantasy on a ground and two pavanas by Davies...

Many thanks for this link! Some wonderful music here. Certainly, not all will be to the tastes of everone on this forum (myself included), but for the adventurous and the open-minded, there are some remarkably approachable works worth investigating.
