Bernard Rogers(1893-1968): a Catalogue of the Orchestral and Choral Music

Bernard Rogers was a Romantic American composer from the same sort of stable as Howard Hanson and Paul Creston. Indeed Rogers taught at the Eastman School at Rochester University as a colleague of Hanson. He was a pupil of Ernest Bloch, Nadia Boulanger and, it may surprise some to learn, Frank Bridge.
Sadly his music seems to have almost completely disappeared and little of it has been commercially recorded.

Attempting to compile this catalogue was therefore a risky undertaking since I am not aware that it has been attempted before. It involved me having to scan through back copies of the Rochester newspapers ::) It is my best attempt ;D
