No mention of the rumoured Second Violin Concerto, which I am by no means convinced ever existed.

I doubt that Goldmark will ever become very popular, and most of his music will be known only through recordings that very few people will buy. Very sad. In my dreams, I would hope that the opera The Cricket on the Hearth would be recorded. The Queen of Sheba and Merlin are available and I'm very grateful for that. But there are five more awaiting rediscovery.
