As briefly mentioned in another thread, next week the BBC Singers will be showcasing a selection of Rubbra's choral music on Radio 3 as follows:

Monday 11th June (c.15:15)

5 Motets for chorus, Op.37 (1934)

Tuesday 12th June (c.15:25)

Dormi Jesu (The Virgin's Cradle Hymn), Op.3 No.1 (1924)
Madrigals, 2nd Set, Op.52 (1942): Leave prolonging thy distress; So sweet is thy discourse

Wednesday 13th June (c.14:30)

The Givers, Op.96 (1957), written specially in honour of the 85th birthday of Ralph Vaughan Williams 
Introit, Op.162 (1982)
Psalm 122, Op.164 (1984)

Friday 15th June (c.15:05)

Te Deum, Op.115 (1962)

You have reminded me, John, that I have a taped BBC broadcast of Rubbra's op.129 "In Die et Nocte Cantucum" for mixed voices and orchestra.
The reason I did not provide it was that it is disfigured by static interference in a number of places. I could however use Audacity to remove these. In doing so however I would, almost certainly, be removing a few bars of music too.

If you think this is worth doing I shall try to do my best ;D

Thanks, Colin. Yes, please could you upload this as it is otherwise unrecorded: it would be valuable to have even with interference, but if you can do some remedial work on it, even better.

No, it is a broadcast from around 1979/80 by the BBC Concert Orchestra, conductor unknown.
