Btw one of his two piano quintets can now be heard in a recent SWR podcast broadcast. (ah, that was op.54, not this one.)

So this is a different quintet than the Op. 54 on the Rubicon disc?

Op.54 is in C minor, and has a different instrumentation (though I'm guessing it can be played by piano and strings.)

Another good disk. We know the Fourth Trio already, but the Serenade is charming, too, and the Quintet, I think, is one of Kahn's best.
