Sigurd Islandsmoen (1881-1964): a Catalogue of the Orchestral and Choral music

Sigurd Islandsmoen is not overrepresented in the catalogues. His Requiem is recorded by 2L and the miniature Det lysnet i skogen (Forest clearing) has been recorded by Naxos and Intim Records.
Of substantial works still unrecorded are two symphonies, the two oratorios Israel in captivity and Homewards from Babylon
and the vast symphonic poem Eivind Bolt.

Two completely new Norwegian composers to me-Islandsmoen and Hjellemo.

Since-unlike the Finns-the Norwegians hide their composers away I don't suppose there is much chance of hearing their music
