I noted this review of Respighi's cantata Christus...

...and realised it was a reissue of a recording originally on Claves - of a work about which I knew absolutely nothing. Anyway, it turns out to be beautiful piece, richly Romantic in style and with some operatic-style writing for the soloists. Fortunately it can also be auditioned complete on YouTube:
