Arbuckle

Mainly "sung" for his piano works--En Vacances, En Languedoc--this is a wiki about him:

and a delicious, though not exactly new (2006) album of some of his "unsung" orchestral work:

Arbuckle--I've been trying to locate the Severac orch disk for a number of years. Do you happen to know whether it was ever distributed in the US or UK or if it's still available in Europe?

C R Lim

A bit late, but this CD is still available directly from Swiss Radio

It's a wonderful compilation, excellently played and recorded.

At just CHF 15 this is a real bargain, and a real find as far as the music and performances are concerned. If it hadn't been for UC I would have remained ignorant about this fascinating composer. Thank you C R Lim for providing the link!
