Is the F minor symphony in preparation/in the can (forthcoming etc.) from cpo or something? I recall hearing something of the sort

No, it's the early (and gorgeous) B minor Symphony that cpo have in the can.

well, I hope both of them are (I think I've seen a score of the F minor scanned at Sibley perhaps and reuploaded (ouch) at IMSLP, but would have to reread to start to get some impression...), but have of the two, heard the B minor.   Hope there's a published score or manuscript of that somewhere that the local library might get a copy of, I enjoy trying to follow along, it often teaches me things about relations, and is even more often just fun.

According to the booklet accompanying the Prize-Symphony CPO disc, there are also -

1885 - Symphony in A Major
1886 - Orchestral Serenade

and circa 1946 - Lobgesang eines Genesenden,
                         - Passacaglia for Large Orchestra,
               1948 - Violin Concerto, Op. 84. Thank you eschiss1

The last 3 are "still awaiting publication" to quote the author Gottfried Eberle.

Regarding the violin concerto FBerwald mentions under "and circa 1946," Tobias Broeker's catalog lists it as opus 84, dates it 1948, and gives the manuscript location as Staatsbibliothek Berlin. Tobias also lists the individual movements.

And I can add that the violin concerto is already in the focus for a publication (not from me), but there are parts missing and there has to be some work done to restore the complete full score. So it maybe will take a while to listen to a recording of that concerto.
