New to me but his Divertissement on BIS label is very attractive:

Jean Émile Auguste Bernard (1843-1902) was a French Romantic composer and organist. His Divertissement for Doubled Wind Quintet, Op. 36 was first written for the Société des Instruments à Vent (Society of Wind Instruments) in Paris. First published by Durand around 1888, this melodic gem has been embraced in the woodwind chamber repertory. It is comprised of three movements: 1. Andante sostenuto - Allegro molto moderato, 2. Allegro vivace, and 3. Andante - Allegro non troppo.

I forget offhand if any of it's been recorded yet, but he also wrote several orchestral works and several piano-and-strings chamber works (published in the 1890s) that look like they might be worth investigation.
