Evelyn Ingleton  Born 1878 Kensington, London  Died 3.8.1952  Kensington, London

Following a posting by Sidney Grew in 2012, I tried to find out more about E I.

Evelyn Ingleton was the daughter of George and Fanny Ingleton, He was a 'wine agent'. Evelyn was the eldest of three children 1 She studied music under Francesco Berger, Frederick Dawson and Henry Gadsby.  She was a promising composer and a professional pianist and accompanist.  Her earliest performances as a pianist were at The Salle Erard in Gt.Marlborough Street, London.  At the time of her death in St Charles Hospital, Ladbrook Grove, her solicitor advertised for the whereabouts of her brothers as she had left a considerable estate for the time.  After four years the estate was wound up without tracing them.  Her will was finally proved in 1956, too late to benefit her brothers.
