Alan Howe

Can anyone record this, please?

adriano

Will do, Alan, and hope it is not going to be a suspense session like last time when I recorded Holfernes, where there was a thunderstorm - and I had to switch from one audio source to the other...

Alan Howe

Great, thanks. Yes, we've been having thunderstorms over here too.

BerlinExpat

I can do it too, just in case the south and west are hit yet again.

minacciosa

Forgive my ignorance, but how do you learn about these amazing broadcasts?

adriano

Deutschlandradio Kultur (a sensation; hope it will survive these difficult times for Radios stations!) has a
website with daily programs, forecasts and a lot of additional infos:

QuoteForgive my ignorance, but how do you learn about these amazing broadcasts?

No big deal... I just go to www.operacast.com a couple of times a week.

adriano

Hi Alan
I've recorded the Oratorium. A really good piece.
At the end of the broadcast, the announcer says that it will be issued soon on cpo; do you still want my audio file?

Alan Howe

Our usual practice is to retain the upload until the commercial recording comes out and then delete it.

adriano

To whom shall I send it by wetransfer? I don't know how to upload, so I would need an e-mail address...

Alan Howe

I think Mark Thomas will be able to help once he's back from holiday this week.

Mark Thomas

Yes, Adriano, send it to me, if you like. I'm back on Wednesday.

markniew

Excellent news! I wonder how this performance may sound. We can compare it to the recording uploaded years ago into our archive.

Mark Thomas

It's now available for download, here. Thanks Hadrianus.
