This is great news - I've thoroughly enjoyed this labels traversal of J.Wieniawski's piano music.  Thanks for the information!

Double-A

Years ago I got the sheet music of the op. 32 quartet as a gift.  There was a foreword with great praise for the work.  However, playing through the first violin part and looking at the other parts I found it quite unattractive: Melodically uninspired, long movements.  The foreword also promised that it would be well suited for amateurs.   I found at least the first violin part tricky to play; not virtuosic (which would be fine though unsuited for amateurs), just awkward in many places, hard to make sound well.

I had similar feelings about the Op.32 quartet, which is of course not to say that in more competent hands it won't sound fabulous!
