Stanford String Quintets & Intermezzi from SOMM

SOMM continues its Charles Villiers Stanford series with the two String Quintets and "Intermezzi", due out from Presto on 20 Nov.  Unless I'm mistaken the 2nd Quintet has not been recorded before.

What welcome news. The recordings of Stanford's music which have become available in the last few years really is quite staggering.
